Launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery - March 15, 2009 - 7:43PM EDT

When the weather is clear, Space Shuttle launches from Kennedy Space Center in Florida are visible hundreds of miles away. My brother and I viewed the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery March 15, 2009 from the observation tower at Boca Ciega Millennium Park in Seminole, FL. The park is west of St. Petersburg and Tampa.
